Candy AI Boyfriend: Same Screens, Different Character
A male companion on Candy AI is not a second product with its own interface. It is the same gallery, the same creation panel and the same chat window. This page marks the handful of fields you fill in differently, then the longer list of things the app does exactly as before.
Choosing A Male Character In The Gallery
The filter chips across the top of the character grid include a Boyfriend option, and the cards behave the same way: name, age, a line of temperament, one click into the chat. The library runs past 100 distinct characters with pre-written backstories, and nothing caps how many you keep conversations with. The chips narrow by type and nothing finer, so reading the cards is still the way to choose. The home page shows the same grid in miniature.
The Creation Fields You Set Differently
Open the creation panel and the inputs are familiar: ethnicity, eye colour, hair style, body type, age range. Voice pitch is the field most people move, since it carries most of the difference you can hear. After that you choose a personality archetype — Shy or Bold among them — then hobbies, an occupation, a communication style, and the relationship history that decides whether the first message reads like a new acquaintance or a long-term partner.
What The Chat Screen Does Identically
From the first message on, nothing is different. Memory works the same way: the AI recalls details you gave it, very old ones can fade, and the Memory tab lists what it kept. The conversation picks up where it stopped rather than resetting. Nothing in the chrome relabels itself either: the tabs, the request buttons and the Memory tab all sit where they were. The girlfriend walkthrough describes that first session screen by screen and applies here without changes.
Tokens, Voice And Video Clips
The request buttons beside the message box are the same three. Voice replies arrive as audio, image requests take an outfit or a setting, and video clips show the character in motion. All three draw on the token system, and video drains it fastest. Rendering style is a separate choice, covered on the stylized and Live Action page.
Access, Languages And Billing
Sign in by email or a social login such as Google or Discord. There is no app to download — Chrome or Safari on a phone runs the same account, synchronised with the desktop view — and chat is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Dutch and Portuguese. Statements carry a neutral merchant name, cards and cryptocurrency are both accepted, and cancelling costs nothing extra. The plan cycles and the full guide cover the rest, as does the home page's billing and security section.
